Journal of Applied Ichthyology (JAI), available at reduced subscription rate (*)

JAI has become the official journal of WSCS. So far, the literature on sturgeons is scattered over wide array of science journals with very diverging objectives. For the first time, the scientific literature on sturgeons has been provided with a home where manuscripts on various aspects of sturgeon biology and conservation issues will be refereed by sturgeon experts. For this reason the Editorial Board has been expanded by seven sturgeon expert. Several sturgeon mansucripts have already been submitted and will appear in 2004. From April 2004 onward, the WSCS membership is entitled to subscribe to the Journal of Applied Ichthyology at a substantially reduced annual rate (almost 80% of the current price).
